“Anthony and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to say their last goodbyes to his two friends who passed away as they were being prepared for repatriation,” the commissioner stated.

A Tribute to the Fallen

Those who lost their lives were identified as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. It was also noted that the athlete was heartbroken and overcome with emotion over the loss of his two trusted companions.”
