David Walliams lost his contract with book publisher.
Best-selling young adult author and comedian David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A spokesman for the firm commented: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was made after an inquiry regarding claims about questionable actions directed at young women.
The firm declined to specify the reasons for its decision, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."
