The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

This young athlete boasts considerable online presence

Kai Trump can count on plenty of prominent cheerleaders when she starts her LPGA debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous courses worldwide and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she revealed.

Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to compete and relax," she explained.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions this year and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"And he's an even better individual. He advised me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of top competitors in women's golf at the competition, including second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to new audiences, specifically among the next generation.

The young star boasts millions of followers and has started her own clothing and lifestyle label.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
